Everything you need to know about the platform and how it works.

Base Campus is an app using elements of game-play, designed to help college students managetheir emotions for real life.

Created by three college professors with input and ideas from students, Base Campus teaches how to manage emotions, resilience, andself-awareness so college students can better navigate everyday stress, academics, relationships, and everything in between so they can thrive in the moments that matter most.

While many mental health apps emphasize crisis intervention or passive content like
meditation libraries or symptom tracking, Base Campus is grounded in evidence-based
frameworks such as CBT and ACT to support preventative skill development focused on
managing emotions in real time. We’re not just here when things are overwhelming, we focus
on helping college students develop practical tools to reduce the likelihood of everyday stress
escalating into crisis.

Base Campus is:

  • Built specifically for college students
  • Content is curated specifically for the user, in the moment
  • Focused on emotional skill-building, not only symptom management
  • Gamified to increase engagement and consistency
  • Grounded in evidence-based psychological practices
  • Designed and developed with students
